From my diary:
Sitting in the dark as the stars and the milky universe swirl about the conifers.
Strange time the other night, I was sitting on a bench, surrounded by clumps of black night, surrounded by red wooden cabins, and a dozen small kids were playing basketball with a dad in a pool of golden light. It was beautiful.
Really interesting.
Megan and her cousin sat next to me so I wouldn't have to be sitting there all alone. They are really nice, but might not understand what it is to be really happy all by yourself. On top of that, I was surrounded by stars. Right in the middle of a swarm of them. You could see the milky way. This is the second time. Hello there, milky way. My goodness, you're still beautiful like the last time. Maybe I shouldn't be surprised.
